In Kannauj, attar is traditionally distilled using sandalwood oil as the base, a method that creates extraordinary depth and longevity.

We personally visited the wild rose harvesting region in Kannauj, witnessing the flowers in their natural environment.
To produce just 1 kg of Rose Attar,
an astonishing 4 tons of Damask roses are required —
the equivalent of two small truckloads of fresh petals.
